Ok, so you’ve decided to make your way down to Miami for the most epic bachelorette trip of all time! Congrats, it’s going to be amazing! We travel to Miami often for family and fun, so I’ve become quite the little tour guide. Here is my full guide on how to book your trip, best places to stay, where to party, what to eat, and everything in between.
Bachelorette Trip in South Beach
Booking Flights
First thing you’ll want to do is book your flights. We like to make a mini vacation out of bachelorette trips so Thursday morning flights are best, this way you can enjoy a full day of sun. If you take one piece of advice from this South Beach travel guide, here it is…
When you book your flight back home on Sunday, DO NOT book it for anytime before noon. You think, “ok but it’s cheaper”. Bite the bullet and get the later flight. You are going to have the hardest, most miserable time getting up on Sunday to catch your flight after a 3 day bachelorette binder. Love ya.

Where to Stay in South Beach
Ok, next you’ll want to find somewhere to stay. South Beach is definitely the play if you’re crew is wanting to party every night. We stayed in Coconut Grove on our last trip and loved it. However, we did Uber quite a bit to South Beach, so I think staying in SoBe is best for bachelorette trips.
Save up to 60% off 4+ Star Hot Rate Hotels!
We used HotWire to book multiple hotels for our group. We input our criteria of 4-stars and chose to use the HotRate tool. Once you decide what you are comfortable spending per night, HotWire pulls from 4 hotels and you can see which ones they are before you book. They are amazing hotels, but you won’t know which one until you checkout and pay. Who cares! You just got a $400/night hotel room for $250! That’s a win.

1. Boat Day
I know you’re spending money like crazy already, but this is the last thing you’ll have to do before actually going on the trip. You must book a boat for the ultimate Miami Bachelorette Trip Experience! This is the boat we book each time we go and the owner is an excellent host. You can bring your own alcohol and tips are not required but appreciated. Carlos makes you feel like you own the boat. You and your girls will be feeling like Beyonce on this boat. Tell him I sent you!

3. Cabana Day at Nikki Beach
A bachelorette trip MUST is a day at Nikki Beach. This is an outdoor restaurant, bar and beach club. It is located conveniently in South Beach with beach access. If you aren’t staying on the beach for your lodging, this would be a great time to take a advantage of some waterfront! Here’s the lowdown for booking a spot at Nikki Beach for your bachelorette trip in South Beach:
Book a Cabana at Nikki Beach
- Book in advance on their website
- Book the cabana. You’ll have the day beds and canopies. Great for bigger parties (7-10+)
- Cost: No cost to book the cabanas at Nikki Beach. They only require a $700 minimum spent on food and alcohol. Sounds stiff? It’s embarrassingly easier than you think. We spent $1,400 dollars between 9 girls
- Suggestion: pre-game a little before you go! A bottle of Ciroc Vodka was $350 (YIKES!)
- Worth it! They treat you like royalty and make a presentation out of everything. Clubbin’ during the day outdoors is amazing, trust me!

4. Go out in South Beach
So many places! How will you know where to go out in South Beach while on a bachelorette trip? No worries, I’ve got you covered.

Downtown Brickell City Centre
Night 1: LIV – do not pay for a table. You can get in for free! Sounds crazy, but post on Instagram geotagging South Beach and hashtagging #miamifl #miamibachelorette #miamibach and you have a good chance of one finding you! Message me on Instagram and I’ll try to connect you with some of the ones we’ve used.
Night 2: Mynt, Wall, or Story if you want more of a club vibe
Other options for bars in South Beach are:
- Mango’s
- Bodega
- Employee’s Only
- Broken Shaker
Night 3: Wynwood Bars
5. Visit Wynwood
Maybe South Beach isn’t quite your speed for 3 straight days. To be honest, it can be exhausting! Take one night to visit Wynwood Arts District. What started as more of an art gallery Mecca, has now turned into an urban hangout for all types.
If you’re into music, and maybe need a break from Cardi B, they will have some more “dive” bars like you’d see in college towns. Much more low-key than Ocean Drive.
If you’re a foodie, definitely visit Wynwood while you’re in Miami. Food trucks galore and so much more! Another great time to visit Wynwood is during the day. You’ll want to catch it before the sun goes down so you can go see the “Wynwood Walls.”
The Wynwood Walls is a walkable maze of man-made walls where artists are celebrated and commissioned to express their views and creativity through murals. They are larger than life and absolutely gorgeous!
Ok, so I’m sure you are dying to know… How much does a trip like this cost? I’ll break it down for you. Shoot me your email and you’ll automatically get an email sent to you with estimated cost breakdown for how much a Miami Bachelorette trip.
This looks like so much fun! What a perfect getaway weekend!
I’ve never been to Miami, but I’d love to go and check out your recs. Love the idea of renting a boat!
