Pack your bags, because I’m about to tell you how to “do Miami right.” My sister lives in Miami, so we travel down there often, but recently I took a bachelorette trip to the MIA .
While Miami may be a little more expensive than some other popular destinations, it’s totally worth it in terms of what this area has to offer, plus the weather was gorgeous! My recommendations below are not just for Miami bachelorette trips. If you are looking for an A+ time you cannot go wrong at any of these restaurants, bars, or activities.

Where to Stay in Miami for Bachelorette Trip
We stayed in Coconut Grove, which is one of my favorite areas of Miami. It’s proximity to the bay is great for boating excursions and other outdoor activities. It’s a little quieter than South Beach, so we like to stay in Coconut Grove and just travel to the beach whenever we feel like turning up the heat a little! It’s only a 25-30 minute Uber from Coconut Grove to South Beach.
Our Airbnb was the perfect bungalow for the 8 girls we had on our trip. It had a private little oasis out back with a small pool surrounded by lush greenery. We were within walking distance to a liquor store (major plus), as well as coffee shops and restaurants. The boat we rented docked out of the bay near the Rusty Pelican, which is one of my favorite places to eat while in Miami. The views from the Rusty Pelican are breathtaking, and the food and service are superb.
