Confession: I LOVE cauliflower. I pretty much will try any and all products made from cauliflower. It has this earthy, yet mild taste that can take on an array of flavors which makes it universally delicious on just about anything. If you haven’t hopped on the cauliflower train quite yet, I bet you’re sitting there going, “Ok, what’s the deal with this cauliflower craze?”
Crazy for Cauliflower
In the past year or two, you may have noticed cauliflower rising in popularity. Cauliflower pizza, cauliflower gnocchi, cauliflower rice, cauliflower queso, etc. It’s everywhere, and I’ve tried it ALL! Now, I have to admit…they are not all created equal. But when I find one I love, you will 100% hear about it.
SO, I’m excited to announce I have a new cauliflower product to add to the obsession… Introducing Wholly Veggie CAULIFLOWER BUFFALO “WINGS”!
I discovered this brand during Quarantine in the freezer section of Target and had to give them a try. Not only were they an instant YES for me, but they quickly turned my husband into a cauliflower-conformist!
Wholly Veggie is a plant-based food company, based out of Toronto, Canada that offers a line of vegetarian and vegan food products at grocery stores across North America. All of Wholly Veggie’s products are gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free, and Non-GMO.
I love serving the ranch cauliflower wings and the buffalo cauliflower wings at small gatherings at my house when friends and family come over. I seriously cannot believe how amazing they are and I want to share it with everyone!!
Today, I’m excited to show my new favorite way to enjoy these cauliflower “wings” and give you a way to incorporate them into a complete meal! Let’s do TACOS!
Vegan Cauliflower Tacos
Wholly Veggie has worked hard to include all the best ingredients into their product, so with this taco recipe I wanted to continue using all vegan and gluten-free ingredients. Being from the South, I feel like the word vegan turns people off, and I get it! At first, you may think that vegan things lack flavor, but I assure you these vegan cauliflower tacos will rock your socks off. Just trust me!
What You’ll Need:
- 1 package Wholly Veggie Ranch Cauliflower Wings
- 1 package slaw mix
- Soft corn tortillas
- 1-2 avocados
- 2 limes
- Sir Kensingtons Vegan Avocado Oil Mayo
- Sir Kensingtons Vegan Chipotle Creama
- Salt / pepper
- cilantro (optional)
The crunch of these tacos is insane! The cauliflower wings come completely ready to cook. They crisp up so beautifully! I can’t wait for you to try them. My favorite way to cook them is in my air fryer, but if you don’t have an air fryer, no worries! You can certainly follow the instructions on the box to bake them in the oven and achieve great crisp!
I place my cauliflower wings in the air fryer at 400 for 14 minutes.
