Girls Game Night

Wine and pizza… need I say more? Throw those two words in a girls group text and we’ve got immediate plans to stay in for the night. It’s so important to make room in your schedule for dedicated girls nights, don’t you agree? Some weekends we love to hit the town and try new cocktail bars and restaurants, but sometimes the best memories and laughs are made at home. We like to make it easy on everyone when it comes to cooking and cleaning so we’ll stop by our local Publix for all the fixins for our Girls Game Night festivities. Flatbreads, salads, and wine are the play when it comes to girls nights. Best part? No written recipe! This post is all about fun and games.

Wood-Fired Flatbread Pizza

As I said, some nights are better just skipping the restaurants and bar scene and enjoying some store-bought goodies. American Flatbread strives to make eating their pizza an experience. The Game Plan

When it comes to planning food for a group of girls, I always try to get a variety of flavors and options. For your pickier eaters, grab the American Flatbread Tomato Sauce & Three Cheese. For the vegetarian gals, grab the Revolution flatbread. All others will be sure to enjoy the Uncured Pepperoni & Uncured Bacon. My favorite thing about these flatbreads is how light and airy the crust is. You get the taste and texture of pizza but it’s not so heavy! This is something I know all of my girls will appreciate. For girls nights, we also always like to have a salad option and caesar salad kit is always a good call. Because we all know that if you have a salad with your meal, it cancels everything else out, right?

The crust is made from only organically-grown wheat, and the sauce is made of organic ingredients like carrots, celery, onions, red wine, and olive oil. I tried two different baking methods (rack and pizza stone) and I suggest going straight on the rack for the optimal outcome!

Pizza Night Necessities

For easy cleanup, I love to serve on these melamine plates. These wooden boards are great decorative pieces and also wonderful for serving. Lastly, don’t forget a pretty pizza slicer. I like this one for cutting flatbreads.
