Back in the Spring, I discovered the best Summer sandals from Vionic and shared them here. Well, this shoe company has wowed me again, but this time with the best house slipper EVER! Vionic does no wrong in my book. Shoes should be comfortable and functional, which is why I now own 3 pairs of Vionic shoes. These house shoes are so incredible they made Oprah’s Favorite Things list this year! This inspired me to look on her list to see what else we might have in common!
Turns out, Oprah and I are #twinning on a few of our “Favorite Things” and I’ll tell you why they are so amazing.
2018 Favorite Things
Gemma Slipper from Vionic – These are definitely more like shoes versus slippers. One thing I hate about most slippers is how quickly they lose their shape and support. These are true orthotic shoes and have built in support that isn’t going anywhere. These plush slippers are the first thing I put on when I get home and would wear them to work if I could. They have a rubber sole, so you can wear them outdoors without the risk of getting them soaking wet. Always a plus when things come in a variety of colors; I opted for the pink to go with my silver/grey PJ Harlow pajamas!
PJ Harlow Pajamas – I live my best life in slippers and a robe. I didn’t know what I was missing before discovering these silky pajamas; I’ve never slept more like a princess. These pajamas would make an excellent gift for the Holidays, a Birthday, or a Bridesmaids gift. I wear a size small and they are still loose fitting!
Other Random Favorites
Here are some other random things I have discovered and fallen in love with:
Coffee Table Dog Book – This hilarious coffee table book is filled with dogs dressed up as different types of people. I was originally drawn to it because it has a similar looking dog to ours (German Shorthaired Pointer) on the front. The inside is even better! All the dogs have made up personalities and names. This is a great gift idea for the dog lover on your holiday list!
Varley Leggings / Lululemon Align II Leggings – these are by far the most comfortable leggings I have ever owned. They aren’t like Spanx or other brands that try to suck you in. They are flattering, but the reason I like them is because they aren’t constricting and are as soft as butter!
Outdoor Voices Shorts – Most comfortable and flattering athletic shorts I have found. I wear size small, but could also wear a medium.
Vionic Boots – Anything from Vionic, I love! Moto Boots are a Fall wardrobe essential.
Madewell Jeans – Best fitting high-rise jeans, plus if you are shopping in store, they will give you $20 off your purchase when you bring in an old pair of jeans! Win Win!!!
Persol Sunglasses – These are the best quality sunglasses. The lenses are made of a crystal material which makes them very scratch resistant. If you are like me, and will ultimately lose the glasses case, you don’t have to worry as much with these durable frames and lenses. Well worth the money.
Skinceuticals – I like my face wash to have a little grit to it, this is an amazing brand and has helped to clear up my skin.
IT Cosmetics – ByeBye UnderEye Concealer will cover up the most gnarly dark circles or blemish. Great for highlighting and contouring too.
Caldrea Rosewater Driftwood – This scent comes in a variety of solutions. Skip the candle, it doesn’t burn well, but everything else, BUY IT! Counter top spray, room spray, multi-purpose spray… we own them all. My husband loves the way it smells, not too floral or fruity, but a bit more masculine.
Lollia Home Fragrance – This brand also made Oprah’s Favorite Things list. I use the Stack of Pretty Paper home fragrance in my office and it makes me so happy!
Likely Driggs Dress – I go on about this amazingly flattering dress in this post. It comes in a ton of different colors and looks so good on every body type.
Free People Bralette – This is a wardrobe staple. It offers nice support, is comfortable, and is a great layering piece all year round.
