For this post, I have teamed up with some really talented bloggers to present more than one recipe! If you landed here from The Posh Home blog, welcome! She has shared an amazing recipe for a Cranberry Mimosa Cocktail and now I’m excited to share my Rosé Spritzer recipe. Stay tuned at the end of this post to see where this cocktail blog hop takes you next!
Valentine’s Day Cocktails
Valentine’s Day can get really over complicated, really fast. It’s not supposed to be anything more than showing your love the best way you know how. For me, it’s cooking and serving up something creative in the kitchen, so you can probably guess where Ty and I will be spending Valentine’s Day this year…
At Home Valentine’s Dinner and Cocktails
Yep, we’ll be at home! We’ve actually never been out to a restaurant for Valentine’s Day, and this tradition began the first year we started dating in college. In my mind, the perfect Valentine’s Day is spent the kitchen and working together to create something amazing. Surf n’ Turf is our Valentine’s dinner tradition, and I look forward to it every year! He marinates and grills the steaks while I sear the scallops and create the cocktails!
Rosé Spritzer Recipe
Skip the roses this year and just go for a bottle of rosé wine instead. This rosé spritzer cocktail has all the makings to ensure a fun night dining-in and whipping up your own restaurant quality creations. Gin, lemon, rosé, sparkling water and thyme are all you need to make this holiday-themed cocktail. <3
1 oz Gin
4 oz Rosé
1 lemon wedge
Dash of grapefruit bitters
Add all ingredients into a stemless wine glass over ice and stir with a bar spoon and garnish edible flower (optional) and a sprig of thyme. Top with ice and serve!
