Trader Joe’s Cheese Board

Easy Trader Joe’s Cheese Board Tutorial

The holidays are here; a time for gatherings and parties galore!

A cheeseboard is an easy appetizer you should always keep in your arsenal.

This medium-sized cheese board tutorial I’m sharing today is very easy to throw together! All of these ingredients (except the jam) were sourced from Trader Joe’s. TJ’s has really good prices on cheese and I find their store very easy to navigate.

Fall Cheese Board Ideas

When creating any cheese board assortment, you want to include a few different types of cheese that vary in flavor, size, and texture. For this Fall inspired cheese board, I added apples, crackers with figs, and savory cheeses with herbs like rosemary and chive. Let’s dive in!

Here’s What I Used for my Trader Joe’s Cheese Board:

CRUNCHIES

Truffle Marcona Almonds

Fig and Olive Crisps

Pita Bite Crackers

Italian Bread Sticks

Sesame Honey Cashews

FRUITS

Apple

Dried Oranges

Grapes

CHEESES

Unexpected Cheddar (medium softness, dry)

Chevre Goat Cheese (very soft, great with jam or jelly)

White Stilton with Apricots (soft and sweet)

Medium Cheddar with Onion and Chives (firm cheese, full of flavor)

Asiago Cheese with Rosemary & Olive Oil (hard cheese)

Cheeseboard Making Tips

  1. Find a medium-sized board as your canvas. You don’t want a serving platter that is too big, because you might have a hard time filling it up and that can get expensive. I love this 15 inch circular board. Just baggy up leftovers and replenish your board as needed.
  2. Find different ways to display your cheese. Use a knife to cut some of your cheese in uniform slices or cubes. Leave some of your cheese whole, and present it with a cheese knife. For other cheeses, tear them into rustic looking cubes to add some texture to your board (I did this here with the Unexpected Cheddar)
  3. Add some jelly & jams
  4. Use bowls for nuts or fruit to add height
  5. Make sure to provide a gluten free cracker option
