3 Moscow Mule Recipes to Try this Weekend

Transition your sweet Summer cocktail routine into to Fall, with these delicious (and spicy) Moscow mule drink recipes.

Raspberry Moscow Mule

This week, I caught wind that a number of notable Birmingham restaurants are closing down. I was sad to see FLIP Burger close last year, but was lucky enough to snag their raspberry Moscow mule recipe first!

The restaurant business is hard no doubt. After working in many types of restaurants over the years, I would never open one! A cocktail bar sounds like it would be fun to own, but then you have to think about all of those late hours and drunk people. Reason #69789: why I prefer to visit, taste, and recreate their recipes in the comfort of my own home.

For this Moscow mule recipe, you’ll make a fresh raspberry puree. This fruit puree is really simple to make and kicks this libation into the next stratosphere. You’ll be running your own craft cocktail bar out of your house in no-time.

Southern Spiced Mule

Southern spice and everything nice. This is one of my favorite new ginger beer products to use in Moscow mules, and it’s from a company based out of Birmingham! Buffalo Rock makes a ginger beer that’s kicking it up a notch. Low-calorie — this mixer is not, but damn it’s delicious! Get this classic Moscow mule recipe below.

In mule mug, muddle lime wedges and sprigs of mint. Add ice and vodka, and top with Buffalo Rock Ginger Ale. Stir and enjoy.

Apple Cider Moscow Mule

Summer flavors are so light and refreshing, but is anyone else ready for some heavier, and more bold flavors for Fall? I know I am! Apple cider, cinnamon, rosemary, thyme, pumpkin… all the things! Broma Bakery has some of my favorite food photography out there so I wanted to feature her apple cider mule to round out this list. Bookmark this one, for sure!
