Best Cocktails and Bars in Birmingham

Birmingham Restaurants and Bars

The creativity and resurgence of this city are alive and my favorite places to witness it is through the bars and restaurants. Within the past year, Birmingham, AL has blown up on the foodie map in America. Our city is being visited by big-name chefs like Alton Brown and Andrew Zimmern, and recognized by news outlets as being the next “Hot Foodie Town.”

Before diving into the actual food portion of my Birmingham Guides, we’ll start off with a drink, because that’s what you do! See below for my full list of Birmingham bars and my favorite cocktails to order at each one.

What to Drink in Birmingham

With all the buzz around food, I’m not quite sure the cocktails in Birmingham, AL are getting enough praise. Do not sleep on the cocktail menus in Birmingham. They are full of culture, whit, and flavor!

Southern Source Side Note:

The best places for me to get cocktail inspiration are from local Birmingham bars and restaurants. I’ll take a photo of the menu that lists the ingredients and make it my personal mission to recreate it at home. I have done that many times on the blog and you may not have known!
